Insane goals lead to insane progress. I’m so close. And the day’s not over yet.

Realistically, I’m probably not going to finish today. It’s disappointing, but I’m still way ahead of where I thought I’d be just a few weeks ago.

I’ve been killing darlings left and right, and it’s only making the manuscript stronger.

I finished reading a manuscript for one of my critique partners, and then turned around and immediately applied everything I said to her to my own work. Double duty feedback for the 🏆

My next draft is going to be amazing.

And you better believe the sequel (which will really be Book 1 of the series since this is a prequel/origin story/0 draft) is going to be somebody’s favorite.

But that’s a different project, for another time. For today, I just need to make progress on this one.
