This week I need to finish the new revision of my reverse outline of Cate the Cursed. That means reviewing all the notes from my editor (both on the manuscript and in the notebook I marked up when we talked), sorting out my magic system, and clarifying who knows what/when/how.

So many secrets.

It’s kind of funny how often when I’m reading I am annoyed by convenient misunderstandings when characters could just solve their problems with one reasonable conversation, and yet… none of my characters seems to want to share info with any of the others.

And by funny, I mean agonizingly frustrating and soul-crushingly painful.

So, yeah. It’s going to be a great week.
