Daily writing sprints… are hard, man. I cannot keep to a schedule. Writing is not happening during its allotted time. Luckily, I remembered that I wrote the first 30,000 words of this thing on a phone, in front of a tv, so apparently, butt-in-chair time is not 100% necessary. I did get writing done almost every day, in multiple installments, mostly at weird times (like the school pick-up line, my kid’s dark bedroom, and the car service center). And that’s ok because all writing counts.
I’m up to date on my group critiques, and have made progress on most of the feedback I received for Chapt 3.
Chapter 4 is ready for the group. Chapt 5 still needs some work, but the day’s not over yet, and I’ve been on a roll today.
Still not ready for new audiobook after finishing Turtles All the Way Down, but I’m catching up on some great podcasts (see previous posts).
