I knew I was up for an interesting week when I pulled the vibes spread yesterday (10 of Cups, Page of Wands, Death, 6 of Wands, Magician).

Today’s spread was the Page of Pentacles (new opportunities, skill development), 3 of Pentacles (teamwork, progress), and 9 of Cups (contentment). The 8 of Cups was a jumper (disappointment, walking away).

I was not hugely surprised to see all of those pentacles. Material concerns are definitely coming to the forefront for a lot of people right now. It’s already pretty clear that the big change this week (indicated by the Death card) is going to be budget-related. So, I’m glad to see that Page there, reminding me that it’s a skill like any other. And the three is there to point out that it’s a team effort. The 9 of Cups implies that it’s all going to work out, and/or it’s important to be content with what you have, appreciating our blessings in the moment. Which is great because that flying 8 recognizes the disappointment inherent in the change.

Overall the spread could definitely be read with a negative viewpoint, but I’m choosing to read the 8 as validating the emotions that come with making a change (which might be temporary, since the guy on the 9 is sometimes representative of fleeting wish fulfillment).
