Today I pulled two spreads. This morning my son had a doctor’s appointment, so I asked the cards what I should be prepared for… and they gave me the 5 of Swords, the 4 of Swords, and Judgment. So. Yeah. Conflict? Need for solitude/rest? Yup. Judgment… ok, now.

All in all, the trip went well. The kid hated the test, but gave up the battle pretty quickly and just about fell asleep in the car after. And now we have a better idea of how to make him feel better, so we can make some changes moving forward.

Once I got him settled back at school, I pulled another spread, asking what I’m missing, or what needs my attention.

The Hierophant- keywords are convention, education, usually represents a mentor or teacher
The Emperor- keywords are authority and stability, usually someone older with grounded foundations
2 of Cups- keywords are partnership and unity, messages are about love and balance.
