Forgot to post yesterday because #working, but here’s what you missed if you aren’t following me on Instagram:

Today I’m substitute teaching at my old school, having really interesting conversations about British Lit with teenagers who are extremely overwhelmed by the end of the semester.

I miss these conversations, but I don’t miss the rest of it.

I’m glad I got to catch up with some of my old students, but I’m excited to get back to editing my book. I want to make these kids proud, and give them something they’ll enjoy reading. My characters are in college, but a lot of my students are there now, too.

This week’s goal is to meet or exceed the progress I made last week, and to try and maintain the same level of excitement.
