I picked this up on my birthday, and I’m just getting around to reading it now. You guys. I think I have a new comp for Cate the Cursed. I have never a read a book that felt so much like my voice.

Not my genre (this is way creepier). Not my plot (almost no overlap).
Not even my characters, really (Annie is a lot older and more experienced than Cate).

But the snark, and the pop culture references, and the goofy jokes. Humor as a response to darkness.

I’m 80 pages in and I had to put it down to pace myself, or I’ll never get anything else done.
