This week is for big picture revisions. I did leave myself a little work last week, since I didn’t actually rewrite those last three pages, but I think those will come after I finish this last read-through.

On the Vella front, I also need to write the last episode of The Devil in the Details and start outlining The Next Thing. (I’m not 100% sure what The Next Thing is right now, but I’m leaning towards a dark academia YA cross between The Fugitive and The Craft).

February’s goals are all built around querying Cate the Cursed and drafting Book 2 (and a reader magnet). I’m giving myself 3 months for the quick and dirty first draft… which is two months left than I used to write The Devil in the Details, but I didn’t actually write much during November and December because holidays, so I don’t think they count.
